Upper Beach is located in central Toronto. The area extends from the corner of Victoria Park and Danforth Avenues to the Coxwell Avenue and Queen Street East. The area is bound by Kingston Road from the South and the GO train tracks to the North. The area mainly features semi-detached homes, accounting for the majority of sales in this neighbourhood. However, there is also a selection of townhouses and detached homes available. This area is best suited for families with children. The area is given its name as it is directly north of the Beaches neighbourhood. It is a diverse neighbourhood, with high volumes of Turkish, Bengali, Urdu and Greek speakers. The area also conveniently overlaps with the Main Street subway station, allowing residents to enjoy easy access to public transit. It is also located in close proximity to Gerrard Street, which is home to the Gerrard India Bazaar, the largest marketing place of South Asian goods and services in North America.
